Emotional Attachment Pt II

Following my  recent post about the impact certain images have on the viewer, I was going through an order with one of my clients.  As we discussed the photographs she commented that one  of them from our recent shoot had made her heart skip in just the way I had described in my blog.  Very kindly she has let me share the image with you.    Her lovely son was like most teenagers at a photo shoot;  feeling a little unsure about being photographed and struggling to find a pose that he felt comfortable with.  He is a very bright boy and made us all laugh with his antics.  I just kept shooting and then, very suddenly, he just stopped and looked straight into the lens.  I love this image.  As I look at it I feel a connection with the subject, there is a depth and an intensity to his gaze that holds the observer.  I am so pleased that my client feels the same way about this image.
